Training

A key part of the Be Connected program is that each of us can have a role in connecting service members, veterans & their families to support and resources. Equip yourself with the knowledge and skills to help.

Who can participate in training?

Everyone has the potential to help so everyone is invited to participate in training in person and online, including service members, veterans, family members, helpers and providers.

The training provided under Be Connected is focused on preparing you so you are ready to reach out or respond when someone needs help connecting to support or resources. Much like you might take a CPR and First Aid course to be ready to help someone who has a physical injury, this training will help you be ready to help someone who needs help and support.

What type of training is available?

There are many training options, depending on your role and interest. See the recommendations from the Be Connected team below. Required training is what the team feels is essential and recommended are optional training opportunities.
